MISSION STATEMENT
The Franklin Igarta Foundation is a New York State recognized, 100% volunteer based organization that is operated by charitable means within the requirements of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service tax code. The purpose of The Franklin Igarta Foundation is to provide financial assistance to no-kill animal rescue organizations, assist in the adoption of shelter pets, educate individuals about the prevention of animal cruelty and promote a high standard of living for the animals. On the local and state level, The Franklin Igarta Foundation provides relief for no-kill local animal shelters by supplying the basic necessities for the operation of their facilities. We are looking to develop our own small rescue in the future.
In addition to providing financial assistance through fundraising activities, The Franklin Igarta Foundation also provides materials and lectures to K-12 students about the prevention of cruelty to animals. Fundraising activities are implored within the communities of New York State.
